EDD Approval Letter Received but No Payment Yet - How Long to Wait?

Hey everyone, I'm feeling pretty frustrated right now. I got my approval letter last week that said how much I'd be getting daily, but I still haven't seen any money hit my account. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for you to actually get paid after receiving the approval letter?

Ugh, I feel you. The same thing happened to me last month. It took about 10 days after I got the letter for the money to show up. Hang in there!

10 days?! 😩 That's so long. Did you have to do anything or just wait?

Nah, I just had to wait it out. It sucked, but the money did come eventually. Maybe give em a call if it goes past 2 weeks?

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

I was skeptical too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of hold time.

20 bucks tho? Thats kinda steep just to make a phone call 🤔

Yeah, it's not cheap, but consider how much time you waste on hold. For me, it was worth it to finally get answers.

Have you checked your payment method on file? Sometimes they mess up and send it to an old account or card.

Yep, tried everything. Rep's office said they're 'looking into it' whatever that means 🙄

Here's what I've learned from my experience and research: 1. Payment timing can vary widely, from a few days to several weeks after approval. 2. Make sure all your info is up to date in the system. 3. Double-check that you've completed all required certifications. 4. If it's been more than 2 weeks, definitely try to contact them. 5. Keep an eye on your mail/email for any requests for additional info. 6. Sometimes payments are held up due to identity verification issues. 7. Bank holidays can delay payments. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP.
