SDI extension approved but no payment received - what to do?
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. My SDI was extended to April 3rd, but I still haven't received any payment. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting worried about how I'm gonna pay my bills. Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact?

Ugh, I feel you. The SDI system is such a mess rn. I had a similar issue last month. Have you tried calling them? It's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•I've been trying to call for days, but I can never get through. It's so frustrating! 😤

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

•20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep...

•Yeah, it's not cheap, but for me it was worth it to finally get some answers. Your call tho!

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of when your extension was approved and any communication you've had with SDI. 2. Check your SDI account online. Sometimes there are messages or updates there that you might miss. 3. If you can't get through on the phone, try sending a secure message through your SDI online account. 4. Reach out to your local state representative's office. They often have liaisons who can help with SDI issues. 5. If you're really in a bind, consider contacting local non-profits or churches for temporary assistance while you sort this out. Remember, you're entitled to these benefits. Don't give up!

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there's info there that can help explain delays.

•I did, but it just says 'pending'. Not very helpful 😕

This happened to me last year. Turns out they needed additional medical info from my doctor. Might be worth checking if that's the holdup for you too.

•Oh, I hadn't thought of that. I'll def check with my doc. Thanks!

The SDI system is so broken. We need to organize and demand better service. This is ridiculous!

•Preach! 🙌 But how do we even start?

•I'm thinking we could start a petition or maybe even reach out to local news stations. This affects so many people!
