SDI Recertification: How to confirm form received & filled out correctly?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to recertify for my SDI benefits and I'm not sure if I did it right. I submitted the form but now I'm worried it might not have been received or filled out correctly. Has anyone gone through this process recently? Any tips on how to make sure it was done right and actually got to them? I really need these benefits extended and don't want to mess it up.

I just went through this last month! Here's what I learned: • Call the SDI office ASAP to confirm they received your form • Ask them to review it with you over the phone to check for errors • Get the name of who you spoke with and a reference number for the call • If possible, request an email confirmation of receipt Don't wait around hoping it went through correctly. Have you tried faxing your form? Sometimes that's faster than mailing or submitting online. Just make sure to keep the confirmation page!

•Yeah, you can check online! Log into your SDI account, go to 'Claim Status', and there should be a section for recertification status. Hope this helps!

Just want to echo what everyone else is saying about documentation! I learned this the hard way - keep copies of everything and consider sending your recertification form via certified mail if you go the postal route. That way you have proof of delivery with a tracking number. Also, if you submitted online, check your email for any confirmation messages - sometimes they go to spam. The waiting is the worst part, but hang in there! 🤞
