I checked for weeks and my claim status was set for automatic payments. No actions needed. I checked today to make sure my was being processed as every other Wednesday is my processing day and it’s now saying I need to submit a continued eligibility questionnaire, however no forms are available to me online. The needed is DE 2593. is due Friday! I am frustrated that the needed is not available and I have no idea how long it’ll be before they can upload the or if I’m going to have to it in and wait.

Reach out to to address the missing DE 2593 form. It’s likely a system issue if you haven't received any prior notifications. It's likely they tried to it to the address they have for your account. It could be a if it's supposed to be online. Be patient, as phone lines are crazy busy this week. Meanwhile, let your landlord know about the delay - they may be flexible given the situation. Also, look into local emergency assistance for support. Keep records of all your with for future reference. Hope this gets resolved quickly for you.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this stress, especially with due so soon! This is unfortunately a common issue with 's system. A few suggestions that might help: 1) Try calling the disability line early in the morning (around 8 AM) - the wait times are usually shorter then. 2) Check if you can access the through your SDI rather than the main portal. 3) Some local disability advocacy organizations have copies of forms or can help you navigate the system. 4) If you absolutely can't get the online, you might need to visit a local office in person. Document everything - take screenshots showing the isn't available online, as this could help if there are any delays in processing. Hang in there, and I hope this gets resolved quickly for you!

•These are really helpful suggestions! I wanted to add that you can also try reaching out through 's "Contact Us" web if the phones are too backed up - sometimes they respond faster through that channel. Also, @9efb71, if you're a union member or have disability insurance through work, they sometimes have advocates who can help expedite these issues. The fact that it switched from "automatic payments" to needing a overnight definitely sounds like a system glitch, so document that timeline when you contact them. Fingers crossed you get this sorted before Friday!

I'm really sorry you're going through this - the timing couldn't be worse with due Friday! This exact thing happened to my neighbor last month. Here's what worked for her: She called the disability line at exactly 8:00 AM (1-800-480-3287) and pressed 1-2-1 to get through faster. She also found that sometimes the DE 2593 shows up under a different section of the portal - try checking "Forms" instead of your main claim page. If all else fails, you can actually email your local assemblyperson's office - they have liaisons who can often get forms released or issues resolved within 24-48 hours. Also, definitely let your landlord know what's happening - most understand that delays aren't your fault. Keep screenshots of everything showing the isn't available as proof. You've got this!

•This is such great advice! I'm dealing with a similar situation right now and had no idea about contacting the assemblyperson's office - that's brilliant. @9efb71, I also wanted to mention that if you're still having trouble with the phone lines, try calling right after lunch around 1 PM - sometimes there's a brief lull then. And definitely take Ravi's advice about checking different sections of the portal. I've noticed 's website can be really glitchy and forms sometimes show up in unexpected places. The screenshot documentation is crucial too - I learned that the hard way! Hope you get this resolved ASAP. We're all rooting for you! 🤞

I'm so frustrated for you - dealing with system issues when you have due is incredibly stressful! I've been through similar situations with missing forms. A few things that have helped me: First, try logging out completely and clearing your browser cache, then log back in - sometimes forms appear after a fresh login. Also, check if there's a "Pending Actions" or "To Do" section that might have the linked differently. If you have a smartphone, try accessing your through the mobile browser too - I've had forms show up on mobile that weren't visible on desktop. As a backup plan, you might want to call your county's social services department - they sometimes have emergency assistance programs for situations exactly like this where government benefits are delayed through no fault of your own. Document everything with timestamps and screenshots. This really does sound like a system since you went from "no action needed" to needing a overnight. Hang in there!

•This is really solid advice, Yuki! The browser cache clearing tip is something I wouldn't have thought of but makes total sense with 's finicky system. @9efb71, I wanted to add that you might also want to check if your mailing address is up to date in your profile - sometimes when forms don't appear online, it's because they've defaulted to mailing a physical copy to your address on file. If your address has changed recently, that could explain the delay. Also, many local libraries have staff who are familiar with navigating government websites and might be able to help you troubleshoot the portal from a different computer/network. The emergency assistance suggestion is spot on too - most counties have programs specifically for situations like this where benefit delays are causing housing instability. You shouldn't have to stress about losing your home because of 's technical issues!

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this nightmare situation! Having been through disability issues myself, I know how panic-inducing it is when your benefits suddenly get held up, especially with looming. Here's what I'd suggest: First, try accessing your from a completely different device or network - sometimes 's system has weird glitches that only affect certain connections. Also, call the disability customer service line at 1-800-480-3287 first thing tomorrow morning (like 7:58 AM) and have your claim number ready. When you get through, ask them to email you the DE 2593 directly - they can often do this even when the portal is acting up. In the meantime, contact your local Community Action Agency or 211 (dial 2-1-1) for emergency assistance resources - they're designed exactly for situations where government benefit delays threaten housing stability. Also, most landlords are familiar with delays, so definitely give yours a heads up with documentation showing the isn't available online. This really sounds like a system error since it changed overnight from automatic to requiring a form. Document everything with screenshots and timestamps - often needs to see proof of their own technical issues. You've got this, and don't let their broken system make you feel like this is your fault!

•This is incredibly thorough advice, Natasha! I'm new to this community but wanted to chime in because I've been lurking and seeing so many people struggle with similar issues. @9efb71, one thing I haven't seen mentioned yet is that you can also try contacting your local state senator's office in addition to the assemblyperson - they often have dedicated caseworkers who can expedite releases. I learned this from a friend who works in constituent services. Also, if you're part of any local Facebook groups or Nextdoor communities, post there too - sometimes neighbors have connections or know shortcuts that can help. The 211 suggestion is gold - they're amazing for emergency situations like this. I'm really hoping this gets resolved quickly for you. It's awful that you have to jump through all these hoops when the system should just work properly!

I'm really sorry you're going through this stress! This situation is all too common with 's system unfortunately. A few quick suggestions that might help: Try calling 1-800-480-3287 right at 8 AM sharp - the hold times are usually shorter first thing in the morning. Also, sometimes logging out completely, clearing your browser cache, and logging back in can make missing forms appear. If you're still stuck, try accessing your from your phone's browser instead of desktop - I've seen forms show up on mobile that weren't visible on computer. In the meantime, definitely contact your landlord to explain the situation - most understand that delays aren't your fault. You might also want to reach out to 211 for emergency assistance resources while this gets sorted out. Document everything with screenshots showing the isn't available - this will help if there are processing delays later. This really does sound like a system since it changed from automatic payments to needing a overnight. Hang in there - you're not alone in dealing with 's technical issues!

•Thank you for such helpful advice, Amina! I'm new to this community and unfortunately dealing with a very similar situation with my disability claim. @9efb71, I wanted to add that sometimes the forms get stuck in what they call a "pending upload" status - if you call and specifically ask the representative to check if your DE 2593 is in "pending upload," they can sometimes manually push it through to your immediately. I learned this from a disability advocate who helped me navigate my own claim issues. Also, if you have any documentation from when your status showed "automatic payments/no action needed," definitely keep that handy when you call - it helps prove this was their system error, not something you missed. The timing right before is due is just awful, but you're handling this really well by reaching out for help. This community has been such a lifesaver for navigating 's confusing system!
