EDD hasn't confirmed receiving my entrance tests - what to do?
Hey everyone, I sent in my entrance tests for unemployment benefits on March 7th, but I haven't gotten any confirmation that they received them. I'm getting worried. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do when I call them? Any advice would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel ya. The EDD is such a mess rn. I had the same issue last month. Here's what worked for me: 1. Call them ASAP. Don't wait. 2. Have all your docs ready when you call. 3. Ask them to check if they received your tests. 4. If they didn't get them, ask for the best way to resend. 5. Get the name of who you talked to and a reference number. Good luck! pro tip: i found a way to skip the hold time. theres this site called claimyr.com that has a calling tool. it dials the menu, waits on hold, and then calls you when a real person picks up. costs $20 but saved me hours of frustration. heres a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Quick question - did you send your tests electronically or by mail? If by mail, it might take longer to process. Either way, definitely follow up with them.

FYI - there was a system update on March 10th that caused some delays in processing. Your tests might be caught in that backlog. Still worth calling to check tho!
