EDD Disability Claim: How to Check Exact Submission Time?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble remembering when I placed my disability claim order. Does anyone know if there's a way to check the exact time and date? I'm trying to keep track of everything for my records.

Yeah, I've been there! It's so frustrating trying to keep track of all these details. Have you tried logging into your EDD account? Sometimes they have a record of when you submitted your claim.

•Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give that a try. Do you know where exactly in the account I should look?

•If I remember correctly, it should be under 'Claim History' or something similar. Look for a section that shows your recent activity or claim submissions.

•Just a heads up, sometimes the EDD website can be a bit glitchy. If you cant find it there, you might need to call them directly 🙄

Ugh, the struggle is real! 😫 I swear, dealing with disability claims is like trying to solve a rubiks cube blindfolded. Good luck, OP!

Pro tip: Always screenshot or write down the confirmation page when you submit any claim online. It's saved my butt more than once!

•This! 💯 I learned this the hard way. Now I keep a folder on my computer with all my claim screenshots.

I found a method to actually get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•I get the skepticism, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Sometimes you gotta pay to play, ya know?

•How does it actually work tho? Like, do they have some kind of special access or something?

•From what I understand, it just automates the whole calling and waiting process. No special access, just takes the pain out of sitting on hold forever.

Here's a detailed breakdown of how to find your claim submission time: 1. Log into your EDD account 2. Navigate to 'Claim History' or 'Recent Claims' 3. Look for your most recent disability claim 4. There should be a 'Details' or 'More Info' button - click that 5. You should see a 'Submission Date and Time' field If you can't find it there, try these alternatives: - Check your email for a confirmation message - Look through your browser history for the exact time you were on the EDD site - If you used your phone, check your call log for when you might have submitted it Hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more info.

Have you tried calling them? Sometimes talking to a real person is the only way to get accurate info.

Anybody else feel like we need a complete overhaul of the disability claim system? It's 2023, why is this still so complicated?
