Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Just google '[your area] state representative' and you should find their office contact info. Give em a call and explain your situation.

OP, asegúrate de mencionar ESPECÍFICAMENTE que necesitas un nuevo médico cuando hables con ellos. A veces se enfocan en un solo problema y ignoran el resto. También, pregunta sobre el estado de tu pago. No asumas que van a revisar todo automáticamente.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've been doing some gig work on the side, but it's not enough to cover all my expenses. Just hoping this gets resolved soon.

Hey, former EDD employee here. This sounds like a case of crossed wires between departments. Here's what I'd recommend: 1. File an appeal anyway, just to be safe. You have 30 days from the date on the denial letter. 2. Call the disability claims line (not the general EDD line) and ask for a 'claim review' based on the conflicting letters. 3. If you sent your docs via regular mail, resend them via certified mail or fax. 4. Check your online account daily for updates. 5. If you don't see movement in a week, start escalating. Good luck!
