lol welcome to the wonderful world of government efficiency 🤡 I've been waiting 2 months for my claim to be processed. Good luck!
Have you tried reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster.
This is why we need to vote for better leadership. The current administration has completely failed us when it comes to managing unemployment. It's a disgrace! 😡
Hang in there, OP! I know it's tough, but try to stay positive. Have you considered looking into any temporary work while you wait? Might help ease some financial stress.

Hey, former EDD employee here. This sounds like a case of crossed wires between departments. Here's what I'd recommend: 1. File an appeal anyway, just to be safe. You have 30 days from the date on the denial letter. 2. Call the disability claims line (not the general EDD line) and ask for a 'claim review' based on the conflicting letters. 3. If you sent your docs via regular mail, resend them via certified mail or fax. 4. Check your online account daily for updates. 5. If you don't see movement in a week, start escalating. Good luck!
