WorkSource secure chat SAVED me after weeks of ESD phone nightmare

I've been desperately trying to reach an ESD agent for 3 weeks about my adjudication issue!! Called at least 30 times, always the 'high call volume' message then disconnect. Was about to give up when someone at the grocery store (random conversation in checkout line!) told me to try the SECURE CHAT through WorkSource instead of calling ESD directly. Logged into my WorkSource account yesterday, found the secure message option, explained my issue, and GOT A RESPONSE THIS MORNING!! They actually answered my question about why my benefits were held up (missing employment verification) and told me exactly what to upload. Just wanted to share because I was literally pulling my hair out trying to get through on the phone. Has anyone else had good experiences with the chat?

I tried the WorkSource chat last month. Waited 45 min in queue, then got disconnected. Tried again, waited another hour, finally connected with someone who just told me to call the ESD number anyway. Complete waste of time. Must have been lucky to get someone helpful.

THAT CHAT IS USELESS!!!!!! Tried it 5x and only got generic responses telling me to wait for adjudication. ESD is a BROKEN SYSTEM designed to make us give up on getting OUR MONEY that we EARNED through our work history. They don't care if we can't pay rent while they "process" our claims for months. The whole system needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

I actually work at at grocery store too lol weird coincidence. Anyway ive been stuck in adjudication for 5 weeks now and my rent is due next week. Tried the worksource chat just now after seeing this post but its saying "all agents busy please try again later" ugh

Try again first thing tomorrow morning right when they open (8:00am). The system is less congested then and you're more likely to get through. Also, while you're waiting for adjudication, make sure you're still completing your weekly claims and job search activities so you don't lose eligibility. The payments will be retroactive once your claim is approved.

I JUST TRIED THE WORKSOURCE CHAT AND IT WORKED!!! They told me my claim had an eligibility issue because I didn't report my last employer correctly. i tried claimyr after seeing it mentioned here. just wanted to say it actually worked for getting through to esd. waited like 15 min instead of never getting through at all. agent fixed my issue with missing work history that was holding up payment. the chat works for some people but if you need actual esd this was faster

forgot to say in my last comment - my issue was similar to yours, needed to submit verification documents. the worksource chat told me what docs i needed but couldnt actually fix my claim status, needed ESD for that part
