ESD phone weekly claim not showing as submitted online - system error?

Hey everyone, I'm super confused about my weekly claim submission. Last week I filed my unemployment claim using the automated phone system (since my internet was down). It seemed to go through fine - got the confirmation number and everything. But when I logged into my eServices account today, it's still showing that I need to submit my weekly report for that same week! Is the system glitching out? Do phone submissions take longer to update online? I'm worried about missing payments if the system didn't actually record my claim. Should I resubmit online or would that mess things up even more? Anyone else had this happen?

The phone system and online system should sync within 24 hours usually. How long has it been since you filed by phone? If it's been more than 2 business days, there might be a legitimate sync issue. I'd recommend checking if your payment status shows anything in the payment history section - sometimes the dashboard notification doesn't update correctly but the claim still processes.

DO NOT RESUBMIT!!! I did that last year and it flagged my account for fraud investigation. Took 6 weeks to get my claim back to normal status. The ESD systems are notorious for not talking to each other properly.

This happened to me in January. The phone system is still valid for claims but there's definitely some issues with how it syncs to your online account. Did you save your confirmation number from the phone call? That's going to be really important if you need to prove you submitted on time.

Definitely contact them to confirm. Also, check your spam folder for emails from ESD. Sometimes their system sends an email confirmation for phone claims that bypasses your inbox. I found mine there a week later!

hi i use the phone system every week bc my computer is old and the esd website crashes it. what i do is call the weekly claims line early monday morning (like 7am) and then call the regular esd number right after to verify it went thru. this way i dont have to worry about website status. but ya its confusing that they dont match up sometimes

UPDATE: Finally got through to ESD today using the Claimyr service that someone recommended here. The agent confirmed my weekly claim DID process correctly despite what the website shows. She said they're having a system issue where phone claims aren't updating the online status, but the payments are still being processed correctly. My payment should arrive tomorrow as scheduled. She noted in my account that I called to check on this so there's a record of it. Such a relief! Thanks for all the advice everyone.
