Need TWC phone number that won't disconnect after 30 min hold time

I've tried calling the TWC main number 5 times this week about my delayed benefits, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I get disconnected after waiting 30+ minutes. It's so frustrating! My claim has been pending for 3 weeks and I need to speak to someone ASAP about why it's stuck. Does anyone know an alternative number or method to get through to an actual TWC agent? I can't afford to keep wasting hours getting nowhere with this automated system. I've already tried calling at different times (early morning, mid-day, right before closing) and it's always the same result - long wait then disconnection. HELP!

Ugggh, this is the WORST part of dealing with TWC. I swear they designed their phone system to drive people insane. For months I got the same treatment... wait forever then get hung up on. So infuriating when you're desperate for your money!

Exactly! Did you ever find a way to actually get through? I'm at my wit's end here.

The teleserv automated system (800-558-8321) is useless for complex issues, but have you tried contacting your local Workforce Solutions office directly? Some of them can help with basic claim questions or at least escalate your call. The main TWC number is always jammed.

Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't know the local offices could help. Will try calling my nearest one tomorrow.

Try calling exactly at 7:00 am when they open. Thats what finally worked for me after like 2 weeks of getting nowhere

I've tried 7:30am but not right at 7:00, I'll try that. Do you dial the main number or is there a different one?

Main number but seriously be dialing at 6:59 and hit call at exactly 7. It still took like 25 min on hold but at least they answered

I was in the EXACT same situation last month - kept getting disconnected after 30-45 min holds. I finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) and got through to TWC in about 8 minutes. It basically keeps dialing for you until it gets through, then calls you back when it has an agent on the line. Costs money but honestly saved my sanity and got my claim unstuck after weeks of frustration. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U?si=kNxmh025COIlIzKh Alternatively, try emailing your state rep - sometimes their office can help push TWC to look at your claim.

I've never heard of this service but at this point I'll try anything. Just watched the video and it seems pretty straightforward. Did you have to give them a lot of personal info?

Just your phone number so they can call you back when they get an agent. They don't need any of your TWC info or anything. It was worth it for me because I was about to get evicted and needed my claim fixed ASAP.

Try reaching out to TWC through their social media accounts. Sometimes they respond faster there and can help escalate your issue. Their Twitter and Facebook support teams actually seem to be separate from the phone teams. Also, make sure you're calling the right number for your specific issue: - UI Customer Service: 800-939-6631 - Tele-Serv: 800-558-8321 - Tele-Center: 800-215-4812 Different issues are handled by different departments. Based on the 3-week pending status, you probably need the UI Customer Service line specifically.

I didn't realize there were different numbers for different issues. I've been using the main 800-939-6631 number. I'll try the social media route too - didn't think about that!

I had to call over 50 times in one day last year to get through. Started at 7am and just kept redialing whenever it disconnected me. Finally got through around 2pm. The system is DESIGNED to make you give up. Once I finally got a person, they fixed my issue in literally 5 minutes. It was a simple data entry error that had my claim stuck for weeks! Keep trying and document EVERYTHING - dates, times, how long you waited before disconnection. You might need it if you end up filing a complaint.

This is why I ended up giving up on my last claim. After weeks of trying, I just couldn't keep fighting the system. THEY WANT US TO GIVE UP!!!

50 times?! That's insane. I don't have that kind of time or patience, but I guess I don't have much choice. I'm worried mine is also just a simple error that's keeping all my money held up.

Update on your situation? Were you able to get through using any of these methods? I'm curious which one worked because I might be facing the same issue soon with my claim renewal.

I tried the Claimyr service that someone recommended above and actually got through! Took about 15 minutes total instead of the hours I was wasting before. Turns out my claim was stuck because my identity verification through ID.me hadn't properly connected to my TWC account. Agent fixed it in a few minutes once I actually got someone on the phone. Payments should start processing in 3-5 business days they said.
