PA UC payment missing transaction numbers after bank holiday - should I be concerned?
I checked my PA unemployment payment history this morning and noticed none of my recent payments have transaction numbers assigned to them. The amounts are there and status shows as 'processed,' but where the transaction number should be, it's completely blank. My previous payments all had transaction numbers. I'm wondering if this is related to the bank holiday on Monday or if there's an issue with my claim? Has anyone else seen this problem? I'm getting a bit worried since I rely on these payments for rent and bills. Should I try calling UC or just wait it out?

This happens sometimes after holidays. Mine were missing transaction #s after Memorial Day and showed up 2 days later. The system gets backed up with processing. As long as it shows 'processed' you should be fine!

•That's such a relief to hear! Do you remember if your payment was delayed too, or just the transaction numbers?

Bank holidays definitely affect UC payment processing. Transaction numbers typically get assigned when the money actually moves between accounts, which can be delayed due to the Federal Reserve being closed. If your status says 'processed,' your money is in the pipeline but the final steps might be held up. I'd expect everything to appear normally by Thursday or Friday at the latest.

I HAD THIS EXACT ISSUE!! Try checking your Money Network card balance directly instead of relying on the UC portal!!! The UC website has been GARBAGE lately and often doesn't update transaction details even when the money is already on your card. The portal said my payment had no transaction number for 5 DAYS but the money was on my card the whole time!!!!!

•Thanks for the suggestion! I don't have a Money Network card though - mine goes straight to direct deposit. But good to know the website might be lagging behind the actual payment processing.

If you're really concerned, you can try calling PA UC directly to check on your claim status. The challenge is getting through to a representative as their phone lines are often overwhelmed. I had success using Claimyr (claimyr.com) to connect with a UC agent when I had a similar issue with missing information on my claim. They have a video demo showing how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2. It saved me hours of redial attempts. The agent confirmed my payment was being processed despite the missing transaction details on the portal.

•Thanks for the suggestion. I tried calling today but couldn't get through at all. If nothing updates by Thursday I might try that service to avoid spending all day hitting redial.

•I used that service last month when my claim had 'open issues' forever. Got through in like 15 min when I'd spent 3 days trying to call on my own. Worth it just for the peace of mind honestly

my transaction numbers r always delayed after holidays. i think its just the banking system being slow. as long as ur payment status isnt saying something bad like 'disqualified' or 'pending eligibility' ur prob fine. i had the same thing happen after new years and my money still came just a day late

•Good point about the status - mine just says 'processed' with no error messages or warnings, so hopefully that's a good sign. Thanks!

Anybody else notice the website has sooo many other glitches lately?? Last week all my job search activities disappeared then reappeared the next day. PA UC system seems held together with duct tape sometimes!!

•YES!!! And don't even get me started on how it kicks you out EXACTLY at 15 mins of inactivity even if you're in the middle of entering your work search info!!! Lost my entries THREE TIMES last week!!! 😡😡😡

Just wanted to update this thread for anyone who finds it later. Holiday processing delays typically resolve themselves in the following pattern: Day 1 after holiday - payments process internally but transaction numbers missing. Day 2-3 - transaction numbers appear but deposit may pend. Day 3-4 - everything normalizes. If you're seeing a payment as 'processed' without transaction numbers following a bank holiday, it's almost always just a temporary display issue.

•You were absolutely right! My transaction numbers appeared this morning and the deposit hit my account by noon. Thanks everyone for helping calm my nerves!
