PA UC check not showing in Informed Delivery today - Thursday checks missing?
I always get my PA unemployment check on Thursday like clockwork. Been this way for 2 months now. Just checked Informed Delivery like I do every morning and MY CHECK IS NOT SHOWING UP!!! Has anyone else had this happen? Do I need to call the UC office? Last week everything was fine. I filed my weekly claim on Sunday like always, got the confirmation number and everything. My bills are due Monday and I CANNOT be late again. Is there a delay with unemployment checks this week? Panicking!!

This happened to me last month. Don't panic yet! Just because it's not showing in Informed Delivery doesn't always mean it's not coming. Sometimes USPS doesn't scan every piece correctly. Give it until tomorrow before you worry too much. Did you check your PA UC dashboard to see if the payment was processed?

•No I didnt think to check the dashboard!!! Where do I find that again?? Is it under payments history? This is so stressful I swear the PA UC system is DESIGNED to give people heart attacks

•Really?? Mine has been Thursday every single time since I started getting benefits. I didn't know they could just randomly change it!

There's a holiday this week which might be affecting mail delivery schedules. Also, have you considered switching to direct deposit instead of paper checks? It's much more reliable and you typically get your money 2-3 days faster. You can set it up in your dashboard under payment information. I had the same anxiety every week until I switched.

•Wait what holiday? Is today a holiday?? And I tried setting up direct deposit when I first applied but my bank account got flagged for some reason and they switched me back to checks. Might be worth trying again though if its faster

USPS is literally THE WORST right now. My sister mailed me a birthday card that took 16 days to arrive and we live in the same state. Just saying, don't trust informed delivery 100%

If you're concerned about your payment status, you should check your claim status online or call PA UC directly. The best way to see if your payment was processed is to log into your dashboard at www.uc.pa.gov and check your payment history. If it shows as "processed" but you haven't received it, that means it's in transit. If it's still "pending" there might be an issue with your weekly certification. If you can't get through on the phone lines (very common), I'd recommend Claimyr. It helped me get through to a live person when I had a similar issue with a missing payment. You can see how it works here: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2. Definitely worth it when you're waiting on money for bills.

•Just checked and it says "Payment processed" with yesterday's date! So I guess that means its coming? I tried calling the UC number but its busy everytime. I'll check out that claimyr thing if it doesn't come tomorrow. Thanks!!

The UC system has actually been having some technical issues this week according to their Twitter. They posted yesterday about maintenance affecting payment processing. Several people in my Facebook UC group mentioned their payments were delayed by a day or two. If your payment history shows it as processed, you should receive it within 1-2 business days. Also, keep in mind that February sometimes has weird mail delays because of tax season - post offices are handling a ton more mail volume right now.

•Oh thank you! I didn't even think to check their Twitter. That makes me feel a lot better. Just weird because they've been so consistent before now.

UPDATE: Check just arrived!!! Mail carrier came late today (around 4pm instead of noon). So seems like USPS just didn't scan it for Informed Delivery and also delivered later than usual. Thanks everyone for calming me down!!

•Glad to hear it arrived! For future reference, you might want to look into the direct deposit option again. It really does eliminate all these mail-related anxieties. If your bank account was flagged before, try contacting your bank first to let them know you're setting up a government direct deposit, then try the UC system again.
