PA UC Money Network card login problems - can't access my funds!
I'm a seasonal worker (landscaping) and just reopened my PA unemployment claim last week. Instead of direct deposit, my benefits are now going to a Money Network card without me selecting this option. Fine, whatever. So I registered on the Money Network site yesterday, but now it won't let me log in AT ALL. Keeps saying I need to call customer service. I've called THREE TIMES and the automated system keeps telling me my card number and/or social security number are wrong. I KNOW I'm entering them correctly! I'm just trying to check my balance and make sure my payments are actually being deposited somewhere. Has anyone dealt with this Money Network nightmare? I have bills due next week and can't access any of my UC benefits!

•Thanks for the tip! I'll try the lost card option tomorrow. Did you eventually get access to your account online or do you always have to call now?

The Money Network card system is notoriously difficult to navigate. A few things to try: 1. Make sure you're entering your full 16-digit card number with no spaces 2. Double-check that you're using the correct website (mymoneynetwork.com not moneynetwork.com) 3. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies before logging in 4. If you just registered yesterday, sometimes it takes 24-48 hours for the account to fully activate If none of that works, when you call, don't use the automated system. Press 0 repeatedly until you get a human. You might have to wait, but it's worth it to get your account sorted.

•I tried pressing 0 multiple times but it just disconnects me! So frustrating. I'll try clearing my cache though - didn't think of that. And I'll double-check the website. Thanks for the detailed advice.

I had this exact issue with Money Network last year. The problem is likely that your card hasn't been properly activated yet, even though you created an online account. You need to call the specific PA UC Debit Card Services number at 888-233-5916, not the general Money Network number. When you call, have both your card number and your PA UC claim information ready. Also, verify that the name on your UC claim exactly matches the name you used when registering on the Money Network site. Even small differences like using a middle initial in one place but not the other can cause login problems.

•Thank you so much for the specific number! I wasn't using that one. And you might be onto something with the name - I usually go by my middle name but my legal first name is on all my PA UC stuff. I'll try calling that number tomorrow morning.

After dealing with the PA UC system for months, I found that trying to reach them by phone is almost impossible. I was in the same situation with my Money Network card issues (couldn't access funds for 2+ weeks!) and was getting desperate. I finally used a service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that actually got me through to a live person at PA UC. They have a video that shows how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 The agent I spoke with was able to reset something on their end that fixed my Money Network access. Apparently there's often a disconnect between the UC system and Money Network when claims are reopened.

•I've never heard of this service before. Does it actually work? I'm desperate enough to try anything at this point!

•Yes, it worked for me! I was skeptical too but I was at my wit's end after trying for days to get through. The UC agent I spoke with actually helped resolve my issue in about 10 minutes once I got connected.

UC ALWAYS does this!!!! They NEVER tell u they switched from direct deposit to that stupid card! Then they make it IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone when there's problems!!! I had to drive to my local careerlink office and beg them to help me with my money network card last year. The whole system is designed to PREVENT us from getting OUR MONEY that WE EARNED through OUR WORK!!!!!!

•I don't think it's really a conspiracy to keep us from our money... the system is just outdated and understaffed. But I agree it's frustrating.

Update on Money Network cards: PA UC recently changed some of their security protocols in 2025, which is causing login issues for many people. If you recently reopened a claim that was previously active before this change, you might need to go through an additional verification step. Call the PA Treasury Direct at 833-848-1997 (not the regular Money Network number). Tell them you're having trouble accessing your UC funds on your Money Network card. They should be able to verify your identity and resolve the login issue. In the meantime, you can also check your PA UC dashboard to confirm that payments are being issued, even if you can't access the card yet.

•Thank you for this info! I didn't know about the security protocol changes. I'll try this number too. And good idea about checking my UC dashboard - at least I can see if the payments are being issued somewhere.

UPDATE: I finally got this resolved! For anyone with similar issues: I used the Claimyr service that someone suggested here and actually got through to a human at PA UC. Turns out there was a flag on my account because my address had changed since my last claim, which was causing the Money Network verification to fail. The UC agent removed the flag and had me call Money Network directly with a special code. Got my card working within an hour after that! Thanks everyone for the help!

•That's great to hear! Thanks for updating us. This is useful information for others who might face the same issue with address changes between claims.

Wow, glad you got it sorted out! I'm dealing with a similar Money Network headache right now - been trying to access my card for 3 days. The address change flag issue is really helpful to know about. I moved apartments between my last claim and this one, so that might be exactly what's happening to me. Going to try that Claimyr service tomorrow morning. Thanks for posting the update - it's so frustrating when you can't get answers from the system but other people's experiences really help!
