Need PA UC Treasury email to update bank info - can't reach anyone by phone

Hey everyone, I'm in a real jam here. PA UC has my old bank account info and my payments are probably going nowhere. I've been trying to call the treasury dept to update my direct deposit info but it's IMPOSSIBLE to get an actual human on the line. Just endless waiting and then disconnects. Does anyone know if there's a direct email address for the treasury department to update payment info? I've already tried the general UC helpline but they said they can't help with banking updates. Starting to get really worried since I'm relying on these payments for rent next month.

I think theres a form u can fill out on the PA treasury website to update ur bank info. When i had this issue last yr I didnt need to call anyone, just filled out some form online and uploaded it

Really? I've been all over the website and couldn't find a form like that. Do you remember what it was called or where on the site you found it?

The same thing happened to me in January! I was so frustrated because my payments were being sent to a closed account. There's actually a specific email for this: uctreasury@pa.gov (I think that's it - someone correct me if I'm wrong). When you email them, make sure to include your full name, last 4 of SSN, and your claim ID number. They got back to me in about 3 business days.

Are you sure about that email? I emailed uctreasury@pa.gov last week about changing my bank info and my email bounced back as undeliverable. So frustrating!!!

Oh no! Maybe they changed it recently? Let me double check my emails from when I did this...

i had this EXACT problem!!! been calling for WEEKS and nobody picks up EVER!!! this system is completely BROKEN and they dont care at all about us!!! my landlord is already threatening eviction and PA UC is just sitting on my money sending it who knows where!!!

I know it's frustrating, but there's actually a solution here. The email is now ucbanking@treasury.pa.gov - they changed it in March 2025. Include your full name, claim ID (not your SSN for security reasons), and request a direct deposit change form. They'll send you a secure link to submit your new banking info. Allow 5-7 business days for processing after you submit the form.

Have you tried using Claimyr? When I had a similar issue with my direct deposit info, I was going crazy trying to reach someone. I used Claimyr.com and they got me connected to an actual PA UC agent in about 20 minutes who helped me update my banking info right over the phone. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 It was such a relief to finally talk to someone who could actually help instead of just waiting forever on hold.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've never heard of Claimyr before. Did you have to give them a lot of personal info? I'm always careful about that stuff when it comes to my unemployment claim.

They just need basic contact info to call you back when they get an agent on the line. You don't share any of your sensitive claim details with them - you only discuss those directly with the PA UC agent. It saved me so much time and frustration!

The most direct way to update your banking information is through the Treasury Direct Deposit Enrollment form (PWOA-2). Here's the exact process: 1. Download the form from www.patreasury.gov/ucpayments 2. Complete all fields (use ink, not pencil) 3. You must include a voided check or bank letter verifying your account details 4. Mail to: PA Treasury, 651 Boas Street, Room 400, Harrisburg, PA 17121 Alternatively, you can use the Treasury Direct portal at https://direct.patreasury.gov but you'll need to create an account first. Processing time is typically 7-10 business days from receipt of your documents.

This is super helpful but just a small correction - the website is actually www.patreasury.gov/uc-payments (with a hyphen). I just checked it today.

Thank you so much for this detailed info! I'll download the form right now. Do you know if there's any way to expedite the process since I'm already missing payments?

OP did u ever get this figured out? im curious cuz im about to change banks myself

Yes! I ended up using the Claimyr service to get through to a real person at PA UC. The agent was able to verify my identity and update my banking info while I was on the phone. My payment should hit my new account next week. The Treasury form is also an option but takes longer.
