what time can you file unemployment online with NYS Department of Labor
I'm trying to file my weekly claim and it's 2 AM right now. The NYS Department of Labor website keeps saying the system is down for maintenance. Does anyone know what hours you can actually file unemployment online? I work nights so the regular business hours don't work for me and I really need to get this claim submitted before the deadline.

The NYS Department of Labor online system is available 24/7 except during scheduled maintenance windows. Maintenance usually happens Sunday nights from midnight to 6 AM. If you're seeing a maintenance message at 2 AM on a weekday, there might be an unscheduled outage. You can file your weekly claim any day of the week as long as it's before the Sunday deadline for that week.

yeah i file mine at like 3am all the time, never had a problem except on sundays when they do maintenance

I had trouble reaching NYS Department of Labor agents about a similar system issue last month. •You can still file late claims, you just need to call and explain the technical issue. They usually accept it.
