What time does NYS Department of Labor unemployment office close today?
I need to call the NYS Department of Labor about my claim status but I'm not sure what time unemployment close today. Does anyone know their phone hours? I've been trying to reach them all week about my adjudication that's been pending for 2 weeks now. My weekly claim certification is due tomorrow and I don't want to mess anything up. The website doesn't make it clear when their call center actually stops taking calls.

NYS Department of Labor phone lines are typically open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, they often stop taking new calls about 30 minutes before closing due to high volume. I'd recommend calling first thing in the morning around 8 AM for the best chance of getting through.

•Yeah it's legit, they basically handle the calling and waiting for you so you don't have to sit on hold. Was worth it for me since I couldn't take time off work to call during normal hours.

THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS A JOKE!!! I've been calling for THREE WEEKS about my disqualification and they never answer. How are people supposed to survive when they make it impossible to reach anyone???
