Won my New York Unemployment hearing - How do I get my backpay?
I finally won my unemployment hearing after being initially denied. The judge overturned the original decision but I still haven't received any payments. Been claiming weekly since May. Do I need to call them about my backpay or will it come automatically? First time dealing with unemployment so I'm completely lost about what happens next.

Congrats on winning! From my experience, backpay isn't automatic. You'll probably need to call them to release the payments. It took me like 2 weeks of trying to get through on the phone before I saw any money 😫
