What time unemployment office close - NYS Department of Labor hours?
does anyone know what time the unemployment office close? i need to go in person to fix something with my claim but cant find the hours anywhere on the website. tried calling but just get busy signal. anyone been to one recently?

I went to the one in Albany last month and they close at 4 PM, not 4:30. Got there at 4:15 and they were already locked up. Really frustrating because I took time off work to get there.

THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS A JOKE! They make it impossible to reach anyone and then close early. I've been trying to resolve an overpayment issue for MONTHS and can never get through. These offices should be open evenings and weekends for working people!

Just went through this same thing with finding office hours. Most close between 4-5 PM but some locations have weird schedules. The Buffalo office I went to was only open Tuesday-Thursday for walk-ins. Best bet is to call the general number and ask for your local office hours.
