New York Unemployment: Waiting 5 weeks after submitting forms - no decision yet
My unemployment claim has been pending for 5 weeks now after submitting all the required forms. Does anyone know how long this process typically takes? The wait is getting really frustrating and bills are piling up.

I found a way to actually get through! Used this service called claimyr.com that calls and waits on hold for you, then connects you when theres an agent. Costs $20 but totally worth it. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

•100% legit, got through in like 2 hours instead of calling for days

Listen up yall, heres what you need to know about wait times for NY unemployment claims: Typical processing time is 2-6 weeks, but with current backlog its taking longer. If you haven't heard back after 4 weeks, you NEED to contact them. Best ways to reach them: 1. Use claimyr.com to get through on phone (costs $ but works) 2. Message them on their website portal 3. Contact your state representative 4. Keep detailed records of all attempts DONT just sit and wait - be proactive! The squeaky wheel gets the grease 💯
