New York Unemployment Pending for 2 Months After ID Verification - No Benefits Yet
Applied for unemployment benefits in March and got approved. Did the ID verification and sent back their questionnaire. Its been over 2 months and still showing pending with no benefits paid out. Called multiple times but cant get through to anyone. Anyone else dealing with this or know what to do?

I finally got through using claimyr.com - its this service that calls and waits on hold for you then connects you when they get an agent. Costs $20 but honestly worth it after trying to call for weeks. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

•Can confirm - used it twice already. Better than wasting hours trying to get through 💯

Listen up, here's what you need to do: First, make sure your ID verification is actually completed in the system - sometimes it shows as pending even when you submitted everything. Double check your NY.gov account. Second, you NEED to speak with an agent. Your claim is probably stuck in review. Best way is using claimyr.com to get through (worth the $20 tbh). Third, while waiting, send a secure message through your account detailing everything you've done so far. Include dates. Fourth, contact your local state representative. They can often help push claims through. Lastly, keep certifying every week even if you're not getting paid yet. They'll backpay everything once resolved. Don't give up - the system is slow but it works eventually!
