NYS Department of Labor weekly claim certification - how did they reduce processing delays?
I've been filing weekly claims for the past 6 weeks and noticed my payments are coming through much faster than when I first started collecting last year. Back then it would take 4-5 days for my weekly certification to process, now I'm getting paid within 24-48 hours of filing. Has anyone else noticed the NYS Department of Labor system running more efficiently lately? What changes did they make to reduce these processing delays? My claim status updates almost immediately now instead of staying pending for days.
