How long for NY unemployment payment to hit Chase account after release?
Hey everyone, I just got notified that my unemployment money was released today. Anyone know how long it usually takes to show up in a Chase bank account? I'm getting antsy waiting for it to appear!

I found a way to solve unemployment payment delays quickly, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h04mTsfdB8Q

It usually takes 1-2 business days for the money to hit your account after its released. But it can vary depending on your bank. Chase is pretty quick tho, so you might see it tomorrow!

Hey guys, I found a method to actually get someone on the phone at ny unemployment. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. How does it actually work? Is it legit?

ā¢20 bucks? Thats a rip off. We shouldnt have to pay to talk to unemployment š

ā¢I get the skepticism, but it's legit. The service basically automates the whole calling process. It saved me hours of frustration. And yeah, $20 isn't ideal, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Pro tip: Set up text alerts with Chase. That way you'll know the second the money hits your account. No more constantly refreshing the app!

It's usually pretty quick with Chase. But heads up, if it was released late in the day, it might not show up until the day after tomorrow. Banks can be weird like that sometimes.

ā¢Yep, this is true. It also depends on whether it's a weekend or holiday. Those can slow things down too.

Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous we have to jump through so many hoops just to get our benefits? The whole system needs an overhaul smh

ā¢For real. I spent more time fighting with the unemployment system than I did looking for a new job!

Here's a detailed breakdown of how the NY unemployment payment process typically works: ⢠Once your claim is approved and certified, the payment is 'released' from NYSDOL. ⢠It then goes through the ACH (Automated Clearing House) system. ⢠This process usually takes 1-2 business days. ⢠Chase, like most major banks, tends to process these payments quickly. ⢠You'll typically see the funds in your account within 24-48 hours after release. ⢠Weekends and holidays can delay this process. ⢠If you don't see it after 3 business days, contact NYSDOL. If you need to reach someone at ny unemployment quickly (which can be a pain), I've had success using claimyr.com. It's a service that calls for you and connects you when an agent is available. Costs a bit, but saved me tons of time. Hope this helps! Let us know when your payment comes through.

Have you checked your payment history on the ny unemployment website? Sometimes it updates there before it hits your bank account.

I'm in the same boat! Mine was released yesterday and I'm with Chase too. From what I've read here and my own experience, it should hit your account within 1-2 business days. Chase is usually pretty quick with unemployment deposits. I'm checking my account obsessively too lol. Fingers crossed we both see our money soon! š¤

ā¢Same here! The waiting is the worst part honestly. I keep refreshing my Chase app every hour like it's gonna magically appear š At least we're not alone in this struggle! Let me know when yours hits - maybe we'll get lucky and see them both tomorrow!

I've been through this exact situation! With Chase, once NY unemployment releases your payment, it typically shows up within 1-2 business days. Since it's already been released today, you'll probably see it tomorrow or the day after at the latest. Chase is actually one of the faster banks for processing these deposits. I'd recommend checking your account first thing in the morning - that's usually when overnight ACH transfers post. If it doesn't show up by Thursday, then I'd start to worry and maybe give them a call. Hang in there, the money is coming!

ā¢This is really reassuring to hear from someone who's been through it! I was starting to stress about it, but knowing Chase is usually quick makes me feel better. I'll definitely check first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks for the helpful timeline - it's nice to have realistic expectations instead of just anxiously waiting!

I just went through this last month! My NY unemployment payment was released on a Tuesday and showed up in my Chase account Wednesday morning around 6 AM. Chase seems to process these overnight, so you'll likely see it when you wake up tomorrow. The key thing is that once it says "released" on the NY DOL site, you're golden - it's just a matter of the banking system doing its thing. Try not to stress too much about checking every few hours (easier said than done, I know!). Set up those mobile notifications like someone mentioned earlier so you'll get pinged the moment it hits!

ā¢Thanks for sharing your experience! It's so helpful to hear from someone who just went through this. 6 AM sounds about right for when banks usually process overnight transfers. I'm definitely going to set up those mobile notifications - great tip! It's reassuring to know that once it says "released" the hard part is basically over. I'll try to be patient and not check my account every 10 minutes (but let's be real, I probably still will š ).

I'm also with Chase and have been through this a few times! In my experience, once NY unemployment releases the payment, it usually hits Chase accounts pretty quickly - typically within 24-48 hours. Chase processes ACH transfers overnight, so there's a good chance you'll wake up tomorrow and see it there! I always set my phone to check around 6-7 AM because that's when most overnight deposits post. The fact that you got the release notification today is a great sign - the system is working as it should. Just try to stay patient (I know it's hard when you need the money!). If for some reason it doesn't show up by Thursday, that's when I'd start making calls, but honestly I'd bet you'll see it tomorrow morning!

ā¢This is super helpful! I'm also with Chase and waiting for my payment that was released today. It's really reassuring to hear from multiple people that Chase processes these overnight deposits around 6-7 AM. I'm definitely going to check first thing tomorrow morning instead of obsessively refreshing all day today. Thanks for the realistic timeline - knowing that Thursday would be when to start worrying helps set proper expectations. The waiting game is so stressful when you really need the money, but it sounds like Chase is pretty reliable with these unemployment deposits!

I've been dealing with NY unemployment payments and Chase for a while now, and from my experience, you should definitely see it within 1-2 business days! Chase is actually pretty reliable with these ACH transfers. Since yours was released today, I'd expect to see it hit your account tomorrow morning or Wednesday at the latest. The overnight processing usually happens between 2-6 AM, so check first thing when you wake up. I know the waiting is nerve-wracking when you really need the funds, but once you see that "released" status, you're basically in the clear. The banking system just needs to do its thing. Hang tight - it's coming!
