How long after ID.me verification and paystubs does New York Unemployment release funds?

Just finished the ID.me verification process and uploaded all my paystubs. Anyone know how long until they release the funds? Been waiting 3 weeks already and getting really worried about bills piling up.

took about 10 days for me after id.me verification. Make sure you uploaded ALL your paystubs correctly or theyll make you do it again 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone using claimyr.com. Its this service that calls and waits on hold, then calls you when they get an agent. Costs $20 but worth every penny cause I got my issue fixed in one day. Check out their demo: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

100% legit used it twice already. better than calling 500 times yourself trust

Ugh I've been waiting 6 weeks after verification. Called multiple times and keep getting different answers from every rep. The system is such a joke rn

same boat here. one rep says wait, another says theres a problem, next one says everythings fine 🤡

Here's what I learned after going through this process: After ID.me verification, it typically takes 7-14 business days IF everything is perfect. Common delays: missing paystubs, incorrect dates, name mismatches between ID.me and your claim. Best bet is to call them using claimyr.com to check status. Document everything. Ask for claim specialist if regular rep cant help. Keep certifying weekly even if payments are held.

Quick tip: check your message inbox on the portal everyday. sometimes they need additional docs but dont email you about it smh

Been through this nightmare myself - took 3 weeks exactly after ID.me verification. The key thing is making sure your paystubs match EXACTLY what you put on your initial claim (dates, employer name, everything). One tiny discrepancy and they'll hold it up for weeks without telling you. Also double check that your ID.me name matches your unemployment account name perfectly. If there's even a middle initial difference, it can cause delays. Keep certifying weekly no matter what - don't let that lapse or you'll have to start over!

This is super helpful! I think I might have a name mismatch issue - my ID.me has my full middle name but my unemployment account just has the initial. Should I try to fix that through ID.me or call unemployment directly? Don't want to mess anything up worse than it already is 😅
