Pro tip: if u get an agent on the line DO NOT HANG UP no matter what. even if they say they cant help, ask to be transfered. stay on that line like ur life depends on it lol
This! 👆 I once stayed on hold for 4 hours, but I finally got my issue resolved. Sometimes you gotta play the long game.
Ugh, I'm so tired of this. Been trying to sort out an issue with my claim for months. Anyone else feeling completely burnt out by this whole process? 😫
Same boat here. Its so draining. but we gotta keep pushing. dont let them win by giving up!
Protip: When you call, immediately ask for a tier 2 specialist. The first-level reps often can't help with backdating claims.
Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous that we have to jump through so many hoops just to get what we're entitled to? The whole system needs an overhaul smh
Preach! 🙌 It's like they make it difficult on purpose to discourage people from claiming.
idk if this helps but I had a similar issue. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and my SSN was entered wrong. Double check all your info when u get someone on the line!
This is why we need to overhaul the entire unemployment system. It's not built to handle the volume of claims we're seeing. We should be pushing our reps for real change!
Preach! 🙌 The system's been broken for years, but now it's impossible to ignore.
This happened to me last year. Turns out there was an identity verification issue they never told me about. Def keep calling and ask specifically if there are ANY holds or issues with your claim, even minor ones.
Oh no, that sounds awful. How long did it take to resolve once you found out about the issue?
It took about 2 more weeks after I found out. Had to upload some extra docs. Such a headache 😫
Pro tip: call right when they open. I always have better luck getting through early in the morning. Also, try the Claimyr service if you're really stuck. claimyr.com saved me a ton of time.

Has anyone heard about the new bill they're trying to pass? Supposedly it's gonna streamline the whole unemployment process. Might help with issues like this in the future.
