Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. I had the exact same problem. For three weeks my payments just randomly stopped coming. The site showed everything was fine but no money in my account. Spent HOURS on hold and never got through. Finally used claimyr.com and got connected to an agent who found the problem - there was a flag on my account that needed to be removed. Once I talked to a human it got fixed in like 10 minutes. The website is useless for actual problems.

I don't remember exactly but it was worth every penny since I was missing over $1200 in payments that were stuck. Talking to a real person was the only way to fix it.
This is happening to everyone statewide. Check the DoL twitter - they posted about a "processing delay" but of course gave no details. Should be fixed by tomorrow according to their post.

Always open ALL your mail during unemployment, even if it looks like junk. I've had important notices come in very plain unmarked envelopes. The system is designed to be confusing.
This!! I got an overpayment notice in what looked like a credit card offer. Almost cost me $2300!

Terrible advice. They audit claims all the time and you could end up repaying everything plus penalties.

You can absolutely work extra hours temporarily. I do this like every Christmas season (retail life lol). Just report your hours accurately each week, and your benefits will adjust. When January comes and you go back to your normal schedule, the system will adjust back too. You might get less or no benefits during your heavy weeks, but your overall claim stays open.

Faxing (yes, FAXING in 2022 đ¤Ą) a letter explaining your situation sometimes works. The fax number is on their website. Include your claim ID, last 4 of SSN, and detailed timeline. Sounds crazy but it worked for me when nothing else did.

ngl the whole "we need you to submit the same documents AGAIN" thing is 100% a delay tactic. they doing it on purpose to slow down how much they paying out. the more rounds of document submission = more people give up = more money they keep đ¤ˇââď¸

Whenever you upload documents to NY unemployment you NEED to follow up with a phone call to verify they received it. Their system doesn't actually notify anyone when new docs come in - a agent has to manually check. Been through this nightmare twice. Just use claimyr.com to get through to a human - once I actually talked to someone it was fixed in 10 minutes.
