WMR Status Updated to "Received & Processing" but Transcripts Still N/A - MFJ with Cycle 02 - When Will Transcripts Update?

My WMR status changed from 'still being processed' to 'We have received your tax return and it is being processed' overnight but my transcripts are still showing N/A. Checked on IRS2Go app at 9:33 and saw the update. Screenshot shows: "We have received your tax return and it is being processed. Please Note: For refund information, please continue to check here, or visit IRS.gov/Refunds. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day." My filing status is Married-Filing Joint with cycle code 02. The app shows my filing status correctly as "Married-Filing Joint" with the refund status message I mentioned above. I'm checking at 9:33 with my phone battery at 35%. The IRS2Go app has several tabs at the bottom for Refunds, Payments, Tax Help, Connect, and Security. Anyone know if transcripts will update tomorrow or do I need to wait until next week? I'm anxious to see when my refund will actually be processed since there's finally been movement on WMR but transcripts still show N/A.

This is a positive change from the previous "still being processed" status. As you have cycle code 02 and are filing Married-Filing Joint, you can expect transcript updates to occur during the Thursday/Friday weekly cycle update. The 35% battery indicator and cellular signal strength shown in the screenshot aren't relevant to your tax status, but the key features visible are the standard IRS navigation menu (Refunds, Payments, Tax Help, Connect, Security) and the central status message. The IRS's note about "updates no more than once a day" is their standard disclaimer - while they only update WMR daily, the actual processing continues behind the scenes. The N/A transcript status is normal at this stage, as transcripts and WMR operate on different update schedules and systems. Given your cycle code and the status change, you should see transcript movement within the next weekly cycle rather than having to wait longer.
