Used tax professional instead of TurboTax - how to track refund without SBTPG?
Filed with a tax preparer this year instead of turbotax and I cant figure out how to track my refund. Usually used SBTPG but that's only for TurboTax right? Where else can I check my refund status?

You can track your refund using the IRS Where's My Refund tool at irs.gov/refunds. You'll need your exact refund amount, social security number, and filing status. If you want more detailed info, you can create an account on irs.gov and view your full transcript which shows everything going on with your return.

•it does wayyy more than just read it. It actually explains everything in plain english, finds issues that might delay your refund, and gives you a pretty accurate timeline. totally worth the buck imo

Check with your tax preparer - they might have given you access to their tracking system. Mine did 🤷♀️

SBTPG is only for returns filed through TurboTax. Your refund might go through a different bank if your tax preparer uses another service. Did they tell you which bank they use?
