Need quick IRS verification method without waiting for letter - URGENT

I need to verify my identity with the IRS asap but really dont want to wait for that verification letter to come in the mail. Anyone know a faster way to do this? Already tried calling but the wait times are insane.

You can verify your identity online through ID.me on the IRS website. Go to IRS.gov, look for Identity Verification, and follow the steps. You'll need a valid government ID, social security number, and a smartphone or computer with a camera for the face verification process. Usually takes about 15-20 minutes if everything goes smoothly.
