My Direct Deposit Date is today but TurboTax says bank transfer by tomorrow - anyone got their refund early?

Nope, once you have a DDD you're good to go! The money is already allocated for you. The email is just confirmation that everything's proceeding normally now.

yeah they did but it took another week cuz there was some bank routing issue. just saying be patient until its actually in ur account

Exactly. Once it changes to funded, you'll usually get it within 24 hrs. They batch process in the mornings usually so check again tomorrow.

Yep had to call every time. Got the runaround for weeks. First they said bank rejected it (they didn't), then they said it was a system error, then finally it went through. Total nightmare.

Same happened to me! The only way I finally got it resolved was using Claimyr to get thru to a human who could actually see what was happening and fix it. Phone system is impossible otherwise.

DDD = Direct Deposit Date. It's when the IRS schedules your refund to be sent to your bank. You can find it on your transcript on the IRS website (have to make an account) or sometimes the Where's My Refund tool will tell you.
