IRS Error 107461598510-1: Can't Access Transcripts for PATH Act Filer with $7,930 Refund & EITC for 2 Dependents

Getting Transaction error 107461598510 - 1 when trying to pull my 2024 transcripts this morning through the Internal Revenue Service system. The IRS website keeps showing "The system has encountered an unrecoverable error" message. I keep getting this exact error: "Internal Revenue Service United States Department of the Treasury The system has encountered an unrecoverable error processing Transaction 107461598510 - 1. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause, Please try again later or contact the IRS." It was working fine yesterday and now I can't access anything. I'm cycle 05, PATH Act filer with CTC and EITC for 2 dependents. I'm trying to check on my refund status since I'm expecting around $7,930 between my regular refund and EITC. I filed on January 28th and my transcripts were showing processing under code 570 last time I checked. Every time I try to log in, I get redirected to this United States Department of the Treasury error screen with their apology for "any inconvenience this delay may cause." I've tried different browsers, cleared my cache, and even tried my phone but keep getting the same Transaction 107461598510 - 1 error message. Anyone else running into this same problem today? I'm getting really frustrated because I need to see if there's been any movement on my refund. I've been checking daily since I'm counting on this money to catch up on some bills. Should I call the IRS directly about this "unrecoverable error" or just wait it out?

The error code "Transaction 107461598510 - 1" showing on your IRS Treasury screen is a standard system overload response, typically seen during high-traffic periods. Since today marks the PATH Act restriction lift, the IRS servers are experiencing exceptionally heavy volume from millions of EITC and CTC filers attempting to access their transcripts simultaneously. This particular error message indicates a temporary system timeout rather than an issue with your specific tax return or credentials. The "unrecoverable error" language, while concerning, simply means that particular session failed to complete - not that there's any problem with your tax information. The timing is significant here - as a Cycle 05 PATH Act filer with dependent credits, you're part of the first wave of filers able to access updated transcripts after the restriction lift. The best strategy is to attempt access during off-peak hours, ideally between 2-4am EST when system maintenance is complete but before the morning rush begins. You can also try accessing through the IRS2Go mobile app, which sometimes remains functional during website overloads. If the error persists for more than 24 hours, then reaching out to the IRS directly would be warranted.

ty for explaining! do you know if this means my refund is being processed or just system maintenance?

Could be either - system's too overloaded to tell rn. PATH act claims started processing today so servers are probably struggling

Hey guys instead of playing detective with these transcripts, I started using taxr.ai - it costs $1 but its amazing at analyzing transcripts and telling you exactly whats going on. Saved me hours of stress https://taxr.ai

Pro tip: Try accessing between 1am-3am EST. Less traffic during those hours and usually works better. Been dealing with IRS systems for years and thats my secret sauce 😈
