IRS Error 107461598510-1: Can't Access Transcripts for PATH Act Filer with $7,930 Refund & EITC for 2 Dependents

Getting Transaction error 107461598510 - 1 when trying to pull my 2024 transcripts this morning through the Internal Revenue Service system. The IRS website keeps showing "The system has encountered an unrecoverable error" message. I keep getting this exact error: "Internal Revenue Service United States Department of the Treasury The system has encountered an unrecoverable error processing Transaction 107461598510 - 1. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause, Please try again later or contact the IRS." It was working fine yesterday and now I can't access anything. I'm cycle 05, PATH Act filer with CTC and EITC for 2 dependents. I'm trying to check on my refund status since I'm expecting around $7,930 between my regular refund and EITC. I filed on January 28th and my transcripts were showing processing under code 570 last time I checked. Every time I try to log in, I get redirected to this United States Department of the Treasury error screen with their apology for "any inconvenience this delay may cause." I've tried different browsers, cleared my cache, and even tried my phone but keep getting the same Transaction 107461598510 - 1 error message. Anyone else running into this same problem today? I'm getting really frustrated because I need to see if there's been any movement on my refund. I've been checking daily since I'm counting on this money to catch up on some bills. Should I call the IRS directly about this "unrecoverable error" or just wait it out?

The error code "Transaction 107461598510 - 1" showing on your IRS Treasury screen is a standard system overload response, typically seen during high-traffic periods. Since today marks the PATH Act restriction lift, the IRS servers are experiencing exceptionally heavy volume from millions of EITC and CTC filers attempting to access their transcripts simultaneously. This particular error message indicates a temporary system timeout rather than an issue with your specific tax return or credentials. The "unrecoverable error" language, while concerning, simply means that particular session failed to complete - not that there's any problem with your tax information. The timing is significant here - as a Cycle 05 PATH Act filer with dependent credits, you're part of the first wave of filers able to access updated transcripts after the restriction lift. The best strategy is to attempt access during off-peak hours, ideally between 2-4am EST when system maintenance is complete but before the morning rush begins. You can also try accessing through the IRS2Go mobile app, which sometimes remains functional during website overloads. If the error persists for more than 24 hours, then reaching out to the IRS directly would be warranted.

ty for explaining! do you know if this means my refund is being processed or just system maintenance?

Could be either - system's too overloaded to tell rn. PATH act claims started processing today so servers are probably struggling

Hey guys instead of playing detective with these transcripts, I started using taxr.ai - it costs $1 but its amazing at analyzing transcripts and telling you exactly whats going on. Saved me hours of stress https://taxr.ai

Pro tip: Try accessing between 1am-3am EST. Less traffic during those hours and usually works better. Been dealing with IRS systems for years and thats my secret sauce 😈

Been having the exact same issue since this morning! Getting that same Transaction 107461598510 error when trying to check my transcripts. I'm also a PATH Act filer expecting EITC and was able to access everything fine yesterday. Seems like the system is completely overwhelmed with everyone trying to check their refund status now that the PATH restrictions lifted. Really frustrating when you're waiting on money you need! Hopefully it clears up soon - might try that early morning tip someone mentioned.

Same boat here! I've been refreshing every hour since 7am and keep getting that same Treasury error screen. It's so nerve-wracking when you're counting on that refund money. At least we know it's not just us - seems like half the country is trying to check their PATH Act status today 😅 Going to try the 1-3am trick tonight too!

Ugh, same exact error here! Been trying since 5am and getting that Transaction 107461598510 error every single time. I'm also PATH Act with 2 dependents and was expecting to finally see some movement on my refund today. The timing is so frustrating - right when we can finally check our status after the PATH lift, the whole system decides to crash 🙄 I even tried using my work computer thinking it was a browser issue but nope, same Treasury error screen. Definitely going to try that 1-3am suggestion because I really need to see if there's been any updates. This waiting game is killing me!

I feel your pain! Same exact situation here - been trying since early morning with that same Transaction 107461598510 error. It's so stressful when you're counting on that refund money and the system picks TODAY to have issues, right when PATH restrictions lifted. I'm definitely going to try that 1-3am window tonight too. Hopefully we'll all get through by tomorrow! 🤞

I'm having the exact same issue! Been getting Transaction 107461598510 error since around 6am this morning. I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC and CTC for my kids, and I was able to check my transcripts just fine yesterday evening. It's so frustrating because I was really hoping to see some movement on my refund today since the PATH restrictions finally lifted. I've tried multiple browsers, cleared cache, even tried on mobile - same Treasury error screen every time. Really hoping this gets resolved soon because I'm anxiously waiting to see if my refund has been approved. Thanks for posting this - at least I know it's not just me dealing with this system crash!

Exact same situation here! Been stuck with that Transaction 107461598510 error all morning too. It's so typical that right when we PATH Act filers can finally check our status, the whole system decides to crash 😤 I was really hoping to see if my refund moved from that 570 code today. Going to try that 1-3am trick everyone's mentioning - fingers crossed we can all get through tonight!

Having the exact same Transaction 107461598510 error since this morning! I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC and was checking my transcripts fine yesterday. This is so frustrating because I was really looking forward to seeing if there was any movement on my refund after the PATH restrictions lifted today. I've tried everything - different devices, browsers, clearing cache - but keep getting that same Treasury Department error screen. It's reassuring to know it's a widespread system issue and not something wrong with my account specifically. Definitely going to try that 1-3am access window tonight that others mentioned. Hopefully the IRS gets their servers sorted out soon because so many of us are anxiously waiting to check our refund status! 🤞

Same exact problem here! Been getting that Transaction 107461598510 error all day too. As a new PATH Act filer, this is my first time dealing with the system crash on restriction lift day - had no idea this was normal! Really stressing because I filed early specifically to get my refund ASAP. Thanks for sharing your experience, makes me feel better knowing it's not just my account. Definitely trying that 1-3am window tonight - hopefully we'll all get through! 🙏

I'm experiencing the exact same Transaction 107461598510 error! Been trying to access my transcripts since around 7am and getting that same Treasury Department "unrecoverable error" message every single time. I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC for my dependent and was really hoping to see some progress on my refund today since the restrictions finally lifted. Yesterday everything was working fine and I could see my return processing with code 570, but now I can't get into the system at all. It's so stressful when you're counting on that refund money and the IRS servers decide to crash right when we need them most! Thank you for posting this - it's actually a huge relief to know it's a widespread system overload and not an issue with my specific return. Going to definitely try that 1-3am access window that others suggested. Hopefully the IRS gets their act together soon because this waiting game is torture! 😩

Same here! I'm also getting that Transaction 107461598510 error since early this morning. It's my first year dealing with PATH Act restrictions and I had no idea the system would crash like this when they lifted. I was so excited to finally check if my refund with EITC had any updates, but nope - just error screens all day. At least now I know it's not something wrong with my return! Going to set an alarm for 2am tonight and try that off-peak hours trick. Fingers crossed we can all get through soon! 🤞

I'm getting the exact same Transaction 107461598510 error! Been trying since about 6:30am and it's driving me crazy. I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC for my two kids and was really hoping to see some movement today after the restrictions lifted. Yesterday I could access everything fine and saw my return was processing, but now I can't get past that Treasury Department error screen no matter what I try. It's so frustrating because I really need to see if there's been any progress on my refund - I'm in the same boat counting on this money for bills. Thanks for posting this though, it's actually really reassuring to know it's not just me and that it's a system overload issue rather than something wrong with my return. Going to definitely try that 1-3am trick that others mentioned. Hopefully the IRS gets their servers sorted out soon because this is torture when you're anxiously waiting! 🙏

Ugh, tell me about it! I'm dealing with the exact same Transaction 107461598510 error since this morning too. Also PATH Act with kids and was so ready to finally see some updates after waiting through that whole restriction period. It's like the IRS knew we'd all be refreshing constantly today and their servers just gave up 😅 At least we're all in this together! Definitely going to try that early morning window - hopefully by tomorrow we'll actually be able to see what's happening with our refunds!

I'm having the exact same Transaction 107461598510 error since this morning! Been trying to access my transcripts since around 5:30am and getting that same "unrecoverable error" message from the Treasury Department every single time. I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC and CTC for my daughter, and everything was working perfectly yesterday when I could see my return processing. Definitely setting my alarm for 2am to try that off-peak window trick! Hope we all get through soon 🙏

I'm getting the exact same Transaction 107461598510 error! Been trying since about 5am this morning and it's so frustrating. I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC for my son and was really hoping to see some progress today after waiting through that whole restriction period. Yesterday I could check my transcripts fine and saw code 570, but now I can't get past that Treasury error screen no matter what I try - different browsers, mobile, cleared cache, nothing works. It's actually really comforting to know this is happening to so many of us and it's just system overload rather than something wrong with our returns. I'm right there with you! Same Transaction 107461598510 error since early this morning - so frustrating when you've been patiently waiting through the PATH Act restrictions and then the system crashes right when we can finally check! I'm also dealing with EITC for my kids and really need to see if there's been any movement. It's actually kind of reassuring that we're all experiencing the same thing - means it's definitely just server overload and not issues with our individual returns. Going to try that 1-3am window tonight too - fingers crossed we can all finally get some answers! This whole situation is so stressful when you're counting on that money 😤

Wow, reading through all these comments makes me feel so much better! I've been getting that same Transaction 107461598510 error since around 4:30am and was starting to panic that something was wrong with my return. I'm also a PATH Act filer with EITC for my 3 kids and was really hoping to see some movement today after that long wait. Yesterday my transcripts showed processing fine, but today - nothing but error screens! It's actually kind of funny (in a frustrating way) that the IRS lifts the PATH restrictions and then their entire system crashes from everyone rushing to check at once 😅 Classic government efficiency right there! Definitely going to try that 1-3am window tonight that everyone's suggesting. Thanks for posting this thread OP - it's such a relief to know this is a widespread issue and not something specific to our accounts. Hopefully we'll all get through soon and can finally see what's happening with our refunds! This whole situation is stressing me out when I really need that money for rent 🤞

Same here with 3 kids too! Been getting that Transaction 107461598510 error all morning and was freaking out thinking something was wrong with my return. It's actually hilarious that the IRS lifts PATH restrictions and then their servers immediately crash from everyone checking at once 🤦‍♀️ Peak government efficiency! At least we're all stuck in this together. Definitely trying that 1-3am trick tonight - hopefully we can finally see if our refunds have moved. This whole situation is so stressful when you need that money ASAP!
