How to track state tax refund? Every website I try gives me errors
I filed my state taxes two months ago and still haven't gotten my refund. When I try to check the status online it keeps giving me errors. I've tried calling but keep getting disconnected. Is there a trick to actually seeing whats going on with my refund?

Each state has their own tracking system - which state are you trying to check? Most states have a 'where's my refund' tool on their department of revenue website. You'll need your SSN, filing status, and exact refund amount to check.

•Ah CA is notorious for website issues. Try accessing it early morning or late night when traffic is lower. Also clear your cache/cookies first.

Pro tip: try checking early AM like 5-6am when the systems arent overwhelmed. Works for most state sites
