FTB Notice After Call - Refund Status Confusion
Just got off the phone with FTB yesterday and the rep said she processed my refund and it should hit my account in 4 weeks. But when I checked my FTB account today theres a notice that doesnt make any sense to me. Really confused if this means I actually owe money instead of getting a refund?

Without seeing the actual notice its hard to say for sure. But typically, if a rep told you your refund was processed, that should be accurate. The notice might be an explanation of adjustments or just confirmation of processing. Did you save the notice or can you share what exactly it says?

Call them back and ask for a supervisor. Sometimes the first rep gives wrong info tbh
