Hey there, that message typically shows up when the IRS needs extra time to your return. Could be for various reasons - verification needed, missing info, high volume of returns, or manual review required. Instead of playing the waiting game, I'd recommend checking out taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it's this new AI tool that analyzes your transcripts and gives you a detailed breakdown of what's actually happening with your refund and when you might get it. It's been super helpful for figuring out these processing messages.

I received that same message I’m not sure what’s going on should I be contacting the IRS or just be patient

•Yes I just contacted the IRS and they said that that is what’s popping up until after the 14th or 15th I believe

•I did my through by myself this year so I just wanted to be sure I didn’t do anything wrong but they’re not even letting the tax representatives look into our until after the 15th so you guys don’t bother calling because they can’t give you any information until after the 15th

To all those having trouble reaching a human at the IRS. I just ran across this video that gave me a shortcut to reach a human. Hope it helps! https://youtu.be/wMf29SmRU-I

I'm seeing the same message too! It's been showing for about 2 weeks now and it's so frustrating not knowing what's actually going on. Based on what others are saying here, it sounds like this is pretty common right now and we might just need to wait until after the 15th for any real updates. At least it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one dealing with this vague message. Thanks for posting this - sometimes it helps just knowing you're not alone in the tax refund limbo! 😅
