New message on Where's My Refund tool - 'We have received your tax return and it is being processed' - what does this mean?

This is actually a common message that appears when your return moves into processing. It's neither good nor bad - just means the IRS has your return and is working on it. The bars disappearing is normal at this stage. Keep checking WMR daily, but also get your transcript - it'll give you way more detail than WMR ever will.

The bars on WMR often disappear when this happens - it's not a sign of any problems. Processing times can vary a lot this year, but most returns are getting processed within 21 days.
