IRS Phone Verification: How to get verified without the letter?
Been trying to verify my identity with the IRS but they keep telling me I need to wait for a letter. I see other people getting verified over the phone without waiting. What exactly are yall saying to get them to verify you without the letter? Getting desperate here.

Transcript codes updated - 570 freeze code - Yellow processing box disappeared - WMR shows PATH message
My transcripts updated yesterday with multiple codes including 570. This morning the yellow box saying '2024 return not processed' disappeared. No pending notices or identity verification requests showing. WMR updated to PATH message today but might be automatic. Hoping this is good news.

PATH Act DDD 2/28/2025? When can I expect my refund with EIC?
Anyone know if the deposit date for PATH Act returns is set for February 28th this year? Filed early with EIC and just trying to get a realistic timeline. Don't need any smart comments, just looking for facts from people who know.

Still have 810 Freeze Code & Tax Topic 151 after double verification - 2021 Return Filed June 2023
Filed my 2021 taxes last June and had to verify in person twice - once in August and again yesterday. Still showing 810 freeze code and Tax Topic 151. They're saying nothings holding it up anymore but still no movement. Anyone else dealing with this or know the timeline?

Try calling the Tax Advocate Service. They helped me get my 810 resolved in about 4 weeks after being stuck for months
did you need a hardship to use them?
technically yes but if ur behind on bills that counts
Honestly its wild how broken the system is. Been working in tax prep for 10 years and never seen it this bad before. Your best bet is to keep checking WMR and your transcript weekly. The 810 usually releases automatically but the timeline is unpredictable af
