570 Code on Transcript with No Notices - Should I Be Concerned?

My transcript has some positive codes but theres also a 570 code. I don't see any notices or verification requests in my account. Been checking WMR and my account daily but nothing explains the hold. Anyone know what this means or been through something similar?

The 570 code indicates a hold on your account, but it's not always bad news. It could be something as simple as the IRS reviewing your return internally. Without additional codes like 971 (notice issued) or 424 (examination/audit), it's likely just part of their review process. Keep monitoring for a 571 code which releases the hold.

thanks for explaining! how long does this review usually take?

Usually 2-4 weeks, but with IRS backlogs it could be longer. Each case is different tho

Hey, I actually found this amazing tool called taxr.ai that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's going on and when to expect movement. It's only $1 and saved me hours of googling and guessing. The AI explained my 570 situation perfectly https://taxr.ai

100% legit! It breaks down every code and gives you specific dates to watch for. Better than the generic info you get elsewhere

Mine had a 570 last year and it cleared itself in 2 weeks. No notice ever came. Sometimes they just do random reviews

Did you claim EIC or child tax credit? Those usually trigger more reviews
