2023 Refund Success Story: Filed 2/4, Code 152, No Verification Needed, Got DDD 3/22

Filed beginning of February and WMR showed code 152. Didnt call IRS or do anything special. No verification needed. Transcripts were blank until yesterday when they updated with DDD. Money hit my account this morning! Sometimes the IRS is just slow and theres nothing wrong with your return.

This is actually pretty common. Code 152 usually just means your return is processing normally. Not everyone needs to verify identity or fix issues - sometimes its literally just the IRS being the IRS. Congrats on getting your refund!
