2021 Return Still Shows as Not Updated - Anyone Else?
Been checking my transcript like crazy and still no movement on my 2021 return. Starting to feel like I'm stuck in an infinite loop. Calling the IRS is useless - just get the same automated messages. Anyone else dealing with this or know what I should do next?

Your 2021 return is likely in the unprocessed returns backlog. The IRS is still working through millions of prior year returns. Your best bet is to ensure you've responded to any notices and that your return was actually received. Check your transcript for any TC 971 codes that might indicate why it's held up.

•How do I even know if they got my return? The Where's My Refund tool just says 'still processing' 🤔

•If you e-filed, check your acceptance confirmation. If paper filed, should've sent it certified mail for tracking.

Hey guys instead of playing detective with your transcript, try using taxr.ai - it literally saved me hours of research. For $1 it analyzes your entire transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect movement. https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! Used it last week and it pinpointed exactly why my refund was held up - had a missing form I didnt even know about

•How does it work? Does it just read the transcript or what?

•It basically uses AI to analyze every code and date on your transcript and explains everything in plain english. Even gives you a timeline prediction 💯

Have you tried calling the tax advocate service? They helped me with my 2020 return when it was stuck for like forever
