Frustrated with Prior Year Return - Filed in March 2024, No Updates Yet
Filed my 2022 return back in March and still nothing. Transcripts show N/A and WMR just has the processing message. Called IRS 3 times but keep getting different answers. Anyone else stuck like this? Getting desperate cause I really need this money.

Tax professional here. Prior year returns are taking 6-8 months to process right now. The N/A on transcripts means they haven't started processing yet. Keep checking your transcript weekly for any updates. If you filed a paper return, unfortunately its just a waiting game.
