Need help tracking my refund - no updates or progress
Filed my taxes back in February and still haven't gotten my refund. WMR shows still processing and my transcript hasn't updated since March. Called the IRS multiple times but keep getting the automated message saying high call volume. Starting to get worried something's wrong with my return. Anyone know what I should do next?

Tax advocate here. Without seeing your transcript its hard to say exactly whats going on, but if you filed in February and haven't received any notices, you're likely stuck in the manual review backlog. The IRS is still catching up on returns from previous years.

You can, but they won't take your case unless you're facing financial hardship or have waited more than 6 months.

Quick tip: Try checking your transcript between 12am-3am EST on Fridays. Thats when they usually update the system. Might see movement then.

Make sure you actually can verify your transcript access. Sometimes people think theyre checking their transcript but they cant actually see the full thing bc they havent verified their identity on id.me
