First Time Filer - Filed 2/4, No DDD Yet, Getting Worried
First time doing my taxes and I filed on February 4th. WMR still saying processing and no bars. Transcript just shows N/A. Getting really worried since all my friends already got their refunds. No letters from IRS either. Anyone else experiencing this or know what's going on?

First time filers often face additional verification processes. This is normal. The IRS has extra security measures for new filers to prevent fraud. Keep checking your mail for any identity verification requests. Your return is likely in the review queue.

•Anywhere from 4-8 weeks typically, but could be longer if they need additional info

Hey guys just wanted to share - I was in the same boat last week but found this tool called taxr.ai that actually explained everything going on with my transcript. Cost me a buck but saved me hours of stress trying to figure out these codes. Its pretty amazing at explaining exactly whats happening

•it basically reads your transcript and tells you exactly where your refund is stuck and why, plus when you should expect it. way better than guessing 🤷♀️

Check your transcript on the IRS website if you can. Sometimes WMR isnt updated but transcript shows movement
