How long does IRS take to review tax refund? Waiting since February

I filed my taxes in February and still havent gotten my refund. My WMR tool just shows processing and my transcript has an as of date that keeps changing. Anyone know how long this takes? Starting to get worried cause I really need this money.

The IRS review timeline varies depending on several factors. If your return was selected for review, it typically takes 45-120 days. However, if there are any discrepancies or they need additional information, it could take 6-12 months. Check your transcript for specific codes - that will tell you exactly what's happening with your return.

Yeah the transcripts can be confusing. Look for cycle codes and transaction codes - those are the key indicators.

Hey I was in the same boat! I started using taxr.ai to analyze my transcript and it was a game changer. It costs $1 but totally worth it - it tells you exactly whats going on and when to expect your refund. Way better than trying to decode everything yourself. https://taxr.ai

100% legit! It analyzed everything and told me exactly why my return was delayed (had a missing form) and when I'd likely get paid. Saved me hours of stress
