Filed in January, IRS shows no return filed - Anyone else stuck in limbo?

Filed my taxes back in January and the WMR tool still shows no return filed. Called IRS and they just keep telling me to wait it out. Really need this money and feeling frustrated. Anyone else dealing with this or know what's going on?

This is actually pretty common right now. The IRS is experiencing significant processing delays. First, verify your return was actually transmitted and accepted by checking with your tax preparer or tax software. If it was accepted, you might be in manual review or identity verification queue. You can try requesting your transcript online to see if there's any movement that WMR isn't showing.

Go to IRS.gov, click View Your Account, then Get Transcript. You'll need to create an ID.me account if you haven't already

Hey guys, I've found taxr.ai to be super helpful for situations like this. It's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's going on with your return and when you might get paid. Only costs a buck but saved me weeks of stress. https://taxr.ai

Yeah it's legit! It caught a freeze code on my account that 3 different IRS agents missed. Totally worth the dollar

Did you claim EIC or CTC? Those returns typically take longer to process
