CONNECT system not showing claim weeks for PEUC - anyone else stuck?

I'm so frustrated with the DEO right now. I'm on PEUC (or at least I thought I was?) but suddenly there are no weeks available for me to claim. My last payment was on 3/14/2025 and I should be able to claim again this week, but when I log into CONNECT there's nothing there. No weeks to claim, no messages, nothing! Has anyone else experienced this? I've tried calling DEO over 30 times this week but can't get through to a real person. My rent is due next week and I'm freaking out. Is the system glitched or did they cut off my benefits without telling me?

The PEUC program structure changed in 2025. DEO isn't automatically generating claim weeks for some eligible people. You need to call and have them manually add weeks to your claim. This happened to me last month - took 3 weeks to fix and I almost got evicted. The system is totally broken right now with their latest "upgrade."

Omg thank you for confirming I'm not crazy! Did they backdate your payments once you got through? I'm worried about missing weeks while I try to reach someone.

The current PEUC extension requires manual review every quarter now. There's a verification flag that gets triggered in the system that prevents weeks from being generated until a DEO agent removes it. If you can't get through on the main line, try calling your local CareerSource office - sometimes they can put in a ticket to have your weeks released.

I had this exact issue two weeks ago. The DEO's CONNECT system has a glitch after their March update where PEUC claims need manual intervention to generate weeks. Here's what worked for me - call exactly at 7:29am (not 7:30 when they officially open). I got through on my second attempt and had my weeks added immediately. The agent told me they're working on a fix for the automatic week generation, but it won't be implemented until May.

Thank you! I'll try calling right at 7:29am tomorrow. Did they backdate your weeks so you didn't miss any payments?

Yes, they did backdate them, but I had to specifically ask. Make sure you mention that you were eligible and didn't see weeks to claim. They'll add all missing weeks at once and you can claim them immediately.

After the 2025 system update, DEO is making everyone jump through extra hoops! I swear they make it difficult on purpose to reduce how many people get benefits. They did the same thing during the pandemic and thousands of people just gave up trying.

This issue is actually due to the quarterly income verification requirement they added in January. The CONNECT system is supposed to automatically prompt for verification but instead just stops generating weeks. Classic DEO incompetence. If you submitted any work earnings during your last few claims, this verification flag gets triggered even faster.

I tried calling for 2 weeks straight with no luck. Busy signals or disconnects every time. Finally used Claimyr.com and got through to a DEO agent in about 25 minutes. They have a video demo showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj. The agent said this is happening to tons of PEUC claims right now and added my weeks immediately. Finally got paid yesterday after 3 weeks of nothing.

I've never heard of that service before. Is it legit? I'm desperate to get through at this point.

Totally legit - they basically navigate the phone system and wait on hold for you, then call you when they get an agent. Saved me hours of frustration after trying to call DEO myself for days.

It's primarily affecting PEUC claims, especially if you've been on it for more than 2 quarters. Regular RA claims have a different processing system that wasn't affected by the March update.

This is a known issue with the CONNECT system's quarterly verification process for extended benefits. I previously worked with the DEO's IT vendor, and this has been an ongoing problem they've struggled to fix. The system was designed to automatically generate verification notices when quarterly reviews are due, but instead it's triggering a complete halt on week generation. Here are your options: 1. Call DEO directly at 800-681-8102 repeatedly until you get through 2. Ask your local CareerSource office to submit an internal ticket 3. Email PEUC.help@deo.myflorida.com with your claim ID and situation 4. Use a service like Claimyr that helps you get through the phone system Once you reach someone, specifically ask them to check for a "quarterly verification flag" on your account. They'll need to manually clear it and regenerate your weeks. Make sure they backdate to your last payment date so you don't lose any benefits.

Thank you so much for this detailed information! I'm going to try all these options first thing tomorrow. This is so helpful to understand what's actually happening with my claim.

UPDATE: I got through to DEO this morning! Used Claimyr and was connected to an agent in about 30 minutes. The agent confirmed what everyone here said - there's a system glitch with the quarterly verification for PEUC claims. She cleared the flag on my account and added my missing weeks. I was able to claim them immediately and she said payment should process in 2-3 business days. Thank you all for your help and advice! Hope this helps others with the same issue.
