Here's what worked for me: 1. Use the online portal to start your claim if you haven't already. 2. If you get stuck, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. 3. For the driver's license part, make sure you're entering it EXACTLY as it appears on your license (including spaces). 4. If you don't have previous EDD numbers, you can usually leave that blank or put all zeros. 5. If all else fails, try faxing your application. guys i finally got through last week! heres what i did: 1. called exactly at 8:01 am 2. chose spanish option (even tho i dont speak it) 3. when agent answered, explained i hit wrong option 4. they transferred me to english line but i kept my place in queue it's a hack but it worked for me!
