Locked out of EDD account - can't reset password or file claim. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I can't log into my account because I'm locked out. I tried resetting my password and security questions, but no luck. The IT department is impossible to reach, and the email support was useless. The worst part is, I can't even file a claim without getting back into my account. Anyone else been through this? Any advice on how to get this sorted?

Ugh, been there done that. The system is such a mess! Have you tried calling them directly? Sometimes getting a human on the phone is the only way to fix these account issues.

•Pro tip: call right when they open. You might have to set an alarm, but its worth it to avoid the wait times.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? Thats kinda steep just to make a phone call...

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

•Can you explain more about how it works? Do they just keep redialing or what?

•From what I understand, they use some kind of AI to navigate the phone menu and detect when a real person picks up. Then it calls you. Pretty nifty tech!

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that can help with login issues. Also, make sure you're using the correct URL for the login page - there are some phishing sites out there!

This is why I always write down my security questions and answers somewhere safe. Learned that lesson the hard way 😅

I work in IT (not for this agency tho). Here's what I'd recommend: 1. Try accessing your account from a different device or browser 2. Check if there's a 'Forgot Username' option - sometimes that's separate from password reset 3. Look for any account recovery options that don't require logging in 4. If all else fails, try to find a general customer service email (not the IT dept) and explain your situation Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.

Have you checked their social media accounts? Sometimes they post updates about system issues or maintenance that could be affecting logins.

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a glitch in their system affecting a bunch of accounts. Might be worth asking if they're having any known issues when you finally get through to someone.
