EDD website can't verify my identity - stuck in limbo, need help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with the EDD website. It keeps saying it can't verify my identity. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it? I've been trying to get through on the phone but no luck so far.

I found a way to solve EDD identity verification issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxy1wOnKn8o

Ugh, I've been dealing with the same thing for weeks! It's so frustrating. Have you tried uploading clearer copies of your documents? Sometimes that helps.

Yeah, I've tried that already. Even scanned everything again. Still no luck 😞

Maybe try a different browser? I had issues with Chrome but it worked fine on Firefox.

Good idea, I'll give that a shot. Thanks!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

I was skeptical at first too, but it really worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

How long did you have to wait?

It took about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was on the line.

The EDD system is such a joke. They need to hire more people or upgrade their tech or something. It's ridiculous that we have to jump through all these hoops just to get our benefits.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Clear your browser cache and cookies 2. Use a desktop computer, not mobile 3. Make sure all your docs are in PDF format 4. Double-check that your name matches EXACTLY on all documents 5. If you have a middle name, include it on everything 6. Try uploading during off-peak hours (early morning or late night) If none of that works, you might need to call and speak to a rep directly. Good luck!

I swear, dealing with EDD is like playing a game where the rules keep changing and nobody tells you 🀑

Has anyone else noticed that the verification process seems to be extra strict lately? I wonder if they're cracking down because of all the fraud cases from last year.

Yeah, I heard they implemented some new AI system to catch fraud. Probably why more legit claims are getting flagged too.

Great, so now we're all paying for the actions of a few scammers. Typical πŸ™„

Anybody know if contacting your local assembly member helps? I've seen some people mention it worked for them.

It worked for me! Took about 2 weeks, but they were able to push my claim through.

How do you even find out who your assembly member is?

Just google '[your city] assembly member'. Should pop right up!
