EDD claim processed but no payment received - what to do?
My claim says processed but still no payment. I filed it a while ago and I'm getting really frustrated. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's been weeks since my claim was 'processed' and still nothing in my account. This system is so broken 😤

•How long has it been for you? I'm going on 3 weeks now and starting to panic

•Almost a month for me. Bills are piling up and I'm getting desperate. This is ridiculous!

•Have you guys tried calling? Sometimes that can speed things up

•Lol good luck getting through on the phone. I've been trying for days 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's highway robbery!

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Got through in like an hour when I'd been trying for weeks on my own.

•Can you give more details about how it works? Do they guarantee you'll get through?

•They don't guarantee it, but they keep trying until they get through. You just put in your number and they call you when they have an agent on the line. Saved me so much time and frustration.

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there's more info there that can help explain the delay.

This happened to me too. Turns out there was an identity verification issue I didn't know about. Definitely try to get someone on the phone if you can!

•How did you find out about the identity verification issue? Was it showing up somewhere on your account?

•It wasn't showing up anywhere obvious. I only found out when I finally got through to a rep on the phone. They had sent a letter that I never received 🤦♂️

Here's what I've learned from dealing with this mess for months: 1. Keep checking your online account daily. Sometimes updates appear there before you get notified. 2. If you can, try to call first thing in the morning when they open. It's still a nightmare, but slightly better odds. 3. Check your spam folder regularly. Important emails sometimes end up there. 4. If you have a local unemployment office, try going in person. Some people have had luck that way. 5. Contact your local state representative. They sometimes can help push things through. 6. Document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online status change. It might come in handy. 7. Don't give up! It's frustrating as hell, but persistence usually pays off eventually. Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but you'll get through this!

•Contacting my state rep was what finally worked for me. Definitely try this if nothing else is working!

•More like a nightmare 😩 I've lost count of how many hours I've wasted trying to get this sorted

Pro tip: if you're having trouble getting through on the phone, try calling right at 8:01 am. That's how I finally got a human after weeks of trying!

•What number are you calling? I've been using the one on the website but no luck

•I used the main customer service number. Just keep hitting 0 until it gives you the option to wait for a rep. Good luck!

Has anyone had luck with the online chat feature? I've been thinking of trying that instead of calling

Just a heads up, there's been a glitch in the system affecting some claims filed in the last month. Might be worth asking about that specifically if you get through to someone.
