Where's my payment? Need help checking claim status ASAP!

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out where my payment is and the status of my claim. I submitted it a while ago and haven't heard anything back. Anyone else in the same boat or know how to check on this? It's getting frustrating not knowing what's going on.

Ugh, I feel you. The system is so broken rn. I've been waiting for weeks and still nothing. Have you tried calling them? That's what I did, but be prepared to wait on hold forever 🙄

Calling is the worst! I spent 3 hours on hold last week and then got disconnected 😡

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through in like 20 mins that way

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that tmrw morning and see if I have better luck

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

Raul Neal

Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

How long did it take for them to get someone on the line?

It took about an hour and a half, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music the whole time. They just called me when an agent was ready

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before sending any notifications.

I'm in the same situation. Its been 6 weeks and still nothing. This is rediculous. How are we supposed to pay bills??

0 coins

6 weeks? That's insane! Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up

0 coins

No, I haven't. Didn't even know that was an option. How do I do that?

Just google your state rep and give their office a call. Explain your situation and they might be able to intervene on your behalf. Worth a shot!

Here's what I've learned from my experience and research: 1. Check your online account regularly. Sometimes they update status there first. 2. Make sure all your documents are uploaded correctly. Missing or incorrect docs can cause delays. 3. If you haven't heard anything in 3 weeks, start calling. 4. Use the callback feature if available, so you don't waste time on hold. 5. Be persistent. Sometimes you have to call multiple times to get through. 6. If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can often help push things along. 7. Double-check that your contact info is up to date in their system. 8. Keep a log of all your interactions (calls, emails, etc.) in case you need to escalate. Hope this helps! The system is overwhelmed right now, but don't give up. You'll get your money eventually.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed info! I'll definitely start working through this list. Really appreciate it 🙏

This should be pinned at the top of the sub. Super helpful!

Anyone else notice that payments seem to come through faster if you file on a Tuesday? Or am I just imagining things? 🤔

0 coins

Lol, I think you're onto something. My last two payments both came after Tuesday filings. Coincidence? 🤷‍♂️

Great, now everyone's gonna file on Tuesdays and break the system even more 😂

OP, are you checking for updates in Spanish or English? I've heard some people have better luck with the Spanish-language system, even if you don't speak Spanish fluently.

Interesting! I've been using English. Might give Spanish a try and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the tip!
