I've been trying to complete my UI Online registration for the past three days and keep hitting a wall. omg i had this EXACT same problem last month!! so frustrating!! turned out there was a hyphen in my last name in their system that i wasnt including when typing it in. try adding or removing hyphens, or if you have a suffix like Jr. or III try it with and without. also check if your address is EXACTLY matching whats on your ID - like "Street" vs "St" or "Avenue" vs "Ave" can cause it to fail. its super picky!

The EDD system is GARBAGE!!! I had the EXACT same problem in January and wasted DAYS trying to fix it myself. Called 32 TIMES before getting through. Turns out they had my birthdate wrong by ONE DAY in their system even though I gave them the correct info. The rep fixed it in 2 minutes once I finally got through. The whole system is designed to make us give up. Don't let them win!

I finally got it resolved by calling! The issue was that my married name was in their system, but I was trying to register with my maiden name (which is what's on my driver's license).
